Dew plant in NW India for bottling water
Докладчик: Daniel Beysens (Physique et Mécanique des Milieux Hétérogènes, ESPCI-ParisTech, Paris, France)
Atmospheric moisture (dew & rain) can be harvested and processed into safe drinking water. A dew plant has been just completed in Kothara (NW India). It gives quality and price comparable to reverse osmosis water available in the market. In contrast to the latter technology, there is no contamination of soil or underground water. We present the dew plant construction, the calculation of the water yield from simple meteo data, a numerical simulation of functioning, and the related economical costs.
